High-Visibility Ecoglo® S2-N30 Cast-in-Place Non-Slip Stair Nosing Ecoglo® S2150 Yellow Cast-in-Place Non-Slip Stair Nosing for Concrete Stairs, 2.2" Wide | S2-N30
Ecoglo® S2150 Yellow is the high-visibility yellow configuration of the S2-N30 non-slip cast-in-place stair nosing, designed for installation directly into wet concrete. It combines an aluminum stair-edge profile with a hard-wearing silicon-carbide anti-slip surface to provide durable traction, stair-edge definition and highly visible color contrast.
The bright yellow anti-slip insert is intended to make stair edges easier to visually identify where strong color contrast and prominent step-edge marking are desired. S2150 is suitable for concrete stairs, concrete-filled steel pan stairs and precast concrete stairs in commercial, industrial, institutional and public-sector construction.
S2150 uses a bright yellow anti-slip surface to create strong visual contrast at the stair edge. This makes it particularly relevant for applications where designers, owners or project specifications call for a conspicuous stair-edge color, including industrial facilities, transportation environments, public buildings, commercial properties and other high-traffic locations.

- Unique ridges in the photoluminescent strips protect it from most abrasive wear. They provide slip resistance while still allowing the product to be easily cleaned.
- The hard-wearing silicon carbide non-slip material is integrally bonded to the aluminum substrate. Thousands of people can walk on it with no signs of wear and tear.
Superior Step Edge Safety
- The color contrasting the non-slip material with advanced photoluminescent technology provides step edge visibility in all light conditions.
- The unique ridges in the Ecoglo® photoluminescent strips and the integrated anti-slip contrast strips provide all-weather slip resistance.
Installed Durability:
- The rigid aluminum base spreads any applied load over a greater area of installation adhesive. Installation with a premium polyurethane adhesive/sealant is extremely durable, moisture resistant, and works very well on both smooth and textured surfaces.
For Indoor Use and Outdoor Use:
- Tested to accelerated UV/weathering exposure, and proven to be highly resistant to the effects of UV/weathering.
- The loss in performance is less than can be detected by the human eye when subjected to 6000 hours of UV exposure, which is similar to 30 years of outdoor exposure.
- The polymer used in Ecoglo’s patented process is “long chain” which forms a strong UV resistant product when bonding.
Environmentally Friendly Photoluminescent Contrast Strip
- LEED points qualified
