Ecoglo® F4B150 Aluminized Aluminum Flat Stair Nosing – Yellow Non-Slip Stair Protection

The Ecoglo® F4B150 Yellow Non-Slip Flat Stair Nosing combines a 3.2-inch-wide clear aluminized aluminum profile with a high-visibility yellow silicon carbide non-slip insert. Its wide right-angled profile fits over the leading edge of the step, providing durable traction, stair-edge protection and a clean architectural appearance.
Designed for commercial, institutional, industrial and public stairways, the F4B150 can be installed over concrete, timber, tile, steel, checker plate and thin carpeted stairs. It provides a practical way to renovate worn stair edges and improve stairway safety without replacing the complete stair system.
The hard-wearing silicon carbide material is integrally bonded to the aluminum substrate to provide dependable traction on heavily travelled stairways.
The yellow non-slip surface creates visible colour contrast at the leading edge of the stair, helping users identify the step edge and place their feet more confidently.
The 3.2-inch-wide right-angled profile covers and protects the leading edge of existing steps while providing a substantial 2-inch-wide non-slip surface.
Integrated ridges within the non-slip insert support traction in demanding indoor and outdoor stair applications.

Installation Information
Install the F4B150 using premium polyurethane adhesive with mechanical fasteners, or adhesive only, as appropriate for the stair substrate and project requirements.
The aluminum profile can be supplied with pre-drilled countersunk holes positioned approximately 2 inches from each end and approximately 12 inches apart.
Stainless steel fasteners and concrete nylon anchors are available with the pre-drilled configuration.
Order the insert unattached when the aluminum profile needs to be cut to the required length on site.

Installed Durability:

- Tested to accelerated UV/weathering exposure, and proven to be highly resistant to the effects of UV/weathering.
- The loss in performance is less than can be detected by the human eye when subjected to 6000 hours of UV exposure, which is similar to 30 years of outdoor exposure.
- The polymer used in Ecoglo’s patented process is “long chain” which forms a strong UV resistant product when bonding.
